Rescues (078) 135 3611

If you find a raptor or wild animal that is injured or in distress, please send us your name, a location pin as close as possible, and a photo or video if you can. If we don’t answer immediately, leave a WhatsApp message and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.

DOES THE ANIMAL NEED HELP?

If you notice any of the following signs, the animal likely needs urgent assistance:

  • Visibly bleeding or limping

  • Unable to run or fly away when approached

  • Tangled in fishing line, power cables, netting, or other debris

  • Unconscious or unresponsive

  • Very young, with no parents or nest in sight

  • In immediate danger (such as on a busy road or near pets)

Wild animals often hide signs of injury, so if something doesn’t look right, trust your instincts. Please do not attempt to treat or feed the animal yourself, as improper handling can cause further harm. Call us immediately so we can advise you on the best course of action. Your quick response could save a life.

NOT ABLE TO REACH US?

COMPROMISED WILDLIFE

We take all birds except marine birds, with a special focus on raptors. For garden birds, please contact your local vet, or drop them at our centre on weekends, we’ll stabilize them and transfer them to our vet when they reopen on Monday.

For other wildlife, contact us or a registered rehabilitation centre. If you’re unsure, we can help connect you with the most suitable facility. Please do not care for wildlife on your own, trained professionals give them the best chance of survival.
